Following the example of the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, ICNA-NJ has adopted Social Services as one of its priorities.  Alhamdulillah, there are several ongoing initiatives implemented in New Jersey.  

ICNA-NJ in coordination with ICNA RELIEF provides assistance to citizens to help them live their best lives. One person at a time,our programs and services aim to help people triumph over poverty, abuse and neglect, achieve self-sufficiency and shape strong futures for themselves, their families and their communities.  Insha Allah.

Our current programs are as follows:

  • Soup Kitchen in Newark, NJ
  • Zabiha Meat Distribution on Eid ul Adha
  • Canned Food Drive for the Needy
  • Used Clothing Collection & Distribution
  • Family Counseling and Domestic Abuse Assistance
  • Emergency Disaster Training with Red Cross
