Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA), organizes its annual Young Muslims’ Quiz Competition for children and youth. The "jeopardy style" event is a fun filled experience for the entire family, with attractive prizes such as airline tickets to Mecca, Personal Computers, Digital Cameras and bicycles. Participants from diverse backgrounds unite in the name of Islam and share this one-of-a-kind experience with fellow Muslim youth. The objective of this event is to stimulate the spiritual and intellectual development of the youth, by providing an incentive for gaining knowledge on Islam and Muslim history. The event has been successfully organized by ICNA-NJ, every year since 1999, and is a favorite among Muslim families in New Jersey. During the morning session, all participants take a written exam. Five top scorers from each of the six levels qualify for the final round. While participants are taking the written exams, an exclusive adult program is held during the main auditorium. After lunch and zuhr salah, the jeopardy style buzzer quiz competition is held in the main auditorium for six levels. The event features an Islamic bazaar as well. Starting with 2010, Quiz competition is introducing a speech competition for level 4, 5 and 6 as well. Additional rules apply.
